No Camp for Them

This summer was the first year my kids didn’t go off to camp and it’s mostly because we just couldn’t afford to send them like we have in years past. I sure wish that wasn’t the case since they love it so much but I tried to do everything I could to make being around the house fun for them. I went to http://WILDBluedeals.Com/ and got us internet for the house and even decided to take them to the library once a week so they would read a lot and we joined the local pool so they could get some sun. I haven’t heard any complaints but I have a feeling that’s because my kids are great and would never want to make their father and I feel bad about our family’s financial difficulties. Have any other moms out there had to give something up in this economy that directly impacted your children like this and if so, what was it and how did you deal? I’d love to hear suggestions from anyone…
